method 1: FairUse4WM

go to http://drmlicense.one.microsoft.com/Indivsite/en/indivit.asp?force=1 using internet explorer and click upgrade

step 3 - load keys

open fairuse4wm and click load keys or whatever it says.

step 4 - remove drm

in fairuse, click add files, browse to your music files, select them and click open. choose your output folder and hit next.
note: you need valid licenses in order for this to work. in other words you will had to have downloaded the songs or renewed their licenses within the past 30 days.

step 5 - enjoy for free music

you can now do anything with the newly created files, including burn them to cd, transfer them to whatever device you use, etc. have fun.

method 2: Tunebite

open tunebite. drag your .wma files downloaded from ruckus to the tunebite window. they will be re-recorded at 4x speed, thus removing the drm.

step 4 - enjoy free music

free as in freedom and free as in beer!
i made this guide just for something to do. you may have noticed that the details aren't very specific; that is because i do not even use windows [much]. the riaa needs to move into the 21st century with it's method of music distribution and payment of artists. that is all.
